Dolenja Vas, Ribnica
Dolenja Vas (; (スロベニア語:Dolenja vas), (ドイツ語:Niederdorf)〔''Leksikon občin kraljestev in dežel zastopanih v državnem zboru,'' vol. 6: ''Kranjsko''. 1906. Vienna: C. Kr. Dvorna in Državna Tiskarna, p. 48.〕) is a village in the Municipality of Ribnica in southern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.〔(Ribnica municipal site )〕
The local parish church, built on a slight elevation in the western part of the settlement, is dedicated to Saint Roch ((スロベニア語:sveti Rok)) and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ljubljana. It was built in 1818.〔(Slovenian Ministry of Culture register of national heritage ) reference number ešd 1784〕 A chapel dedicated to Saint Margaret, outside the settlement to the east, is the converted surviving sanctuary of a larger 16th-century church, belonging to the same parish.〔(Slovenian Ministry of Culture register of national heritage ) reference number ešd 2748〕
